Olympus announced on the 5th that it has decided to continue considering the spin-off of the science business, which had been announced in June, including the transfer.
The company has decided to “continue to consider all options, including subsequent business transfers,” in order to achieve sustainable growth and improve profitability.
The spin-off of the science business is scheduled for April 1, 2022 after prior consultations. As soon as the specific method and contents are decided, it will be notified again.
